Career
William Oduol is the current deputy governor of Siaya county. He started politics in 2017 when he competed against former governor Rasanga but lost the election. He petitioned the election and they had a repeat election where he was again defeated. In 2022, he had planned to vie as Alego Usonga mp but decided to withdraw from the race. That is when James Orengo picked him as his running mate.
Apart from politics, Oduol is a serious businessman who has investments in construction nd hospitality sectors. He has worked with several local and international organizations given his vast knowledge in accountancy.
