WHY MIGUNA IS GOING AFTER BABU OWINO “HEARSAY” CASE FILES ! WHO KILLED OCS RAGIRA, MIKE JACOBS, CHARLOW JUMA?
Student leadership in Kenya has been marred with allot of scheming and moreso for high end political regimes like that of University Of Nairobi which normally gets out of hand. In October 11th 2018, a vocal student leader in UON,made a long post against his political nemesis Babu Owino for reasons best known to him, however based on mere hypothesis and could not be solidified facts. His name is OCS Ragira, the same name that has resufaced, with Miguna Miguna drawing a tough line on the Embakasi East Lawmaker.
It all started with Miguna claiming Babu bought Dj Evolve to absolve him from the B-Club shooting saga. In what would look like a bitter exchange, Miguna is back barking like a stray dog with claims of hidden murder files of Mp Babu Owino. But who will believe him if he doesn’t provide proof? So about five years ago, OCS Ragira posted this, month to his March 2019 death:

Ndege Sirkal I Warned you that Babu was not a good man back in 2014 when he Babu fixed charges against me of stealing my own pool tables from Chiromo just because he realized I had the intentions of vying for SONU chair. Babu was the complainant in the case. When pressure was mounted by my loyal fans, he withdrew the charges and we had a negotiation which saw myself shelf my ambitions and run for Secretary Sports SONU. Those present in the meeting were Okung Ndege Serikal, Ig Maumau Ragira Charlo Juma and Babu himself. We agreed I take sports docket and later be the Chairman. I forgave Babu for arresting me illegally and we started campaigns with my then old pajero that students named it 001. During the SONU campaigns I did one of the most vibrant campaigns as that of a signatory. Two weeks to election after returning my nomination paper, Babu paid a security officer by the name Okello who was the acting head for SWA and they fixed me with a fake report that I fought one Ricks and Byron Oddi so I was blocked by admin not to appear on the ballot. Chaos erupted and I was expelled from the university a plan he well executed knowing he was to run for SONU chair again in 2016/17. To date I have not been able to be readmitted to clear my studies. And now Babu had done the same to Ben Sirkal with fake Robbery with violence charges. Then he shamelessly goes on to say he is fighting for the youths. Which youths? He is instead fighting the youth who appears to have divergent opinions.

This is just one of the many student leadership facts mixed with propaganda and sympathy rhetorics that would suit a given leadership approach.
Miguna Miguna is a smart lawyer but very careless with his words at times, however this time Kenyans must rethink at who exactly Miguna is passing Babu over to. The Canadian Kenyan lawyer wants to slaughter Babu in the court of Public opinion to prompt the DPP to open fresh files on the claims.
Either way these are claims of interest to university comrades and Miguna is looking forward to use emotions to drive his agenda through. However we must also look at it politically. Is Miguna being used to weaken Raila Odinga camp by smearing Baba’s strongest lieutenants or is this a personal war between Miguna and Babu, both who were at the University Of Nairobi and know the institution’s student politics history very well? Lets wait and see where this ends up. However my verdict is this. Uprooting Babu Owino with mere claims will not succeed considering also his experience both with student and national politics.
