The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has denied online reports alleging that the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results are set to be released before Christmas.
According to a statement by the examination body, the reports on release date of KCSE is fake and misleading. They said that the marking of the exams is still going on and the results will be out once they are ready.
“KNEC has made no such statement. Marking of KCSE is ongoing and the results will be released when they are ready,” the report by KNEC read.
As per the fake report, the marking of the exams would end by December 11 and thereafter the results would be released any day just between 16th to 23rd. The KCSE exams 2023 started on October 10th and ended on Friday, November 24th and a total of 903,260 candidates did the exams.
