VICTIM OF MAANDAMANO POLICE BRUTALITY DIES IN ICU
Nyalenda slums in Kisumu is mourning the passing of one of their own. A young man known as John Best Orinda who was clobbered by police and left with serious injuries in the last Protests against high cost of living.
It is said that Orinda was attacked at his residence by police during the running battles and since his beating, he has been in ICU. He took his last breath last evening.
The victim was an old boy of Akwakra Mixed Secondary School class of 2015 and is believed to be coming from Kendu Bay Wangchieng ward, Bware village, his ancestral home.
