Age and Early life
Trevor whose name is Trevor Ombija was born on 9th of September in 1988 and is now about 35 years. He was born in Anding`o Opanga village in Nyakach sub county Kisumu county. He is of Luo tribe but details about his parents and other siblings are not known.
Education
This talented journalist schooled in his rural village and this made him experience the real village life before moving to the city. He attended Andin`o Opanga Primary school and later proceeded to same Anding`o Opanga secondary school. He excelled in KCSE which earned him a slot in the prestigious University of Nairobi where he studied journalism graduating with a degree.
Career
In his career, Trevor is arguably a lucky man as he has had quite a smooth journey. He got a chance to begin his media career by working with the then China Central Television Africa, CCTA, which is now CGT. Here, he was an intern as from 2012. This became his starrting point and a year later, he was lucky to join the Nation Media where he first worked as news presenter for Nation Fm.
NTV absorbed him in 2014 as senior news anchor. He also worked as an Associate producer in the same station. Trevor satyed and worked with NTV for five years and in 2018, he left the station.
Trevor joined the Royal Media Services in 2019 and this is where he is still working at. He is a reknowned news anchor and he hosts the Monday Night. He is also hosting the Monday Report/ Townhall. Under RMS, Trevor also works in Ramogi Tv, a television station in Luo dialect, as a news anchor.
Before his life in Media industry, Trevor worked for SDV, an international logistics company, as a see export coordinator between February 2010 and April 2011. He is also a senior partner of Crestwood Marketing and Communication Limited.
Wife
As at now Trevor is single. He came out to reveal that his fiancee of 10 years left him even after paying dowry in 2015. This made him give himself a break from relationship.
