The top candidate in the 2023 KCPE exams, Michael Warutere has been rewarded with a holiday to Mombasa. The three-day holiday has been given to the bright boy by the Viutravel.
Warutere toped the over 1.4 million candidates after he scored 428 marks out of the possible 500 marks. The holiday reward was to recognize his stellar performance. He was awarded this by the Guest Relations Officer of Viutravel Ms Annette White on a live show at Citizen tv.
“At Viutravel we award excellence and so we appreciate that you have done well. This is a three-day fully paid holiday to Mombasa. Go and enjoy yourself for what you have done. We appreciate you with this and we wish you all the best,” said Annette White.
Warutere, while receiving the award, said that he aspires to be a Software Engineer, and he attributed his success to discipline and having a proper time balance.
“You have to balance your time properly. Because you cannot always be on your books. Have time to study as well as time to exercise so that your brain can process information properly and in the end you will achieve success,” said Warutere.
