TikTok will work with the government to re-evaluate acceptable content in Kenya.

This is happening while President William Ruto who this morning met with the Chief Executive Officer of TikTok, Shou Zi Chew, said that the decision has been reached to ensure that the content on the short video platform is acceptable and according to the rules and conditions set.

The goal of the meeting conducted via the Internet is to ensure that the content follows the best values ​​in society. However, the meeting has agreed that dirty videos in Kenya’s TikTok market will be removed.

At the meeting, Mr. Chew agreed to open a TikTok office in Kenya for strategies and operations in Africa. He has promised that Kenyans will have the opportunity to work for TikTok.
