Tickets for MBTA commuter rail are available at a vending machine near the Grand Concourse or through an app available on App Store or Google Play. Although, onboard tickets may incur an additional $3.00 fee. Passes for the subway and local buses are available at fare vending machines in South Station. Note that the South Station Train Terminal is openseven days a week from 5am until 12am midnight. The Bus Terminal however is open round the clock, seven days a week.
