Azimio leader and ODM boss Raila Odinga has sent a sweet message to his wife, Ida Odinga, as she celebrates her birthday and five decades of marriage.
Raila celebrated Ida for being a ‘bedrock and pillar of their family”.
“Being married to you for five decades has brought me great joy, and celebrating this milestone with your birthday was awesome,” he wrote on X.
The auspicious event took place at the prestigious hotel, Kempinski.
He added,
“Mama @IdaOdinga, please accept my heartfelt gratitude for being not only the love of my life, but also the bedrock and pillar of our family.”
Raila returned to Kenya from the United Kingdom where he had been, to celebrate Mama Ida, who turned 73 on August 24, 2023.
The party was attended by leading Opposition leaders such as Martha Karua, who joined the celebration as visitors serenaded by luo maestro, Prince Indah.
