Samson Cherargei is among the vocal politicians who are fighting for and supporting William Ruto to their last breath. He is currently serving as the senator for Nandi county since he was elected in 2017 general elections.

Age

Samson Kiprotich arap Cherargei was born in 1987 naming him about 36 years of age in 2003. He was born in Nandi county, Mosoriot.

Education

Cherargei started his education at Cheptarit primary school in Mosoriot in 1996 to 2002 when he did his KCSE. After this he managed to get to Kapsabet Boys high school in 2003 to 2006 when he did KCSE.

He passed well and was lucky to join Moi University Eldoret to do a course in Law taking bachelor’s degree in law and successfully graduated in 2011. Thereafter, he joined the Kenya School of Law for his Post Graduate Diploma in law making him qualified as an advocate of high court.

Career

Much on his career before joining politics is not available. In the 2017 elections, he vied as senator for Nandi county and was lucky to win under the Jubilee party. He served till 2022 when he change to newfound party, UDA, and again got elected as senator for Nandi county.

Wife

The senator’s personal life such as wife and children is not public though going by his age he might be a bachelor. However, once the information is out on his family it will be updated.

Net worth

As a senator, he has managed to acquire influence which has made him be able to venture into various businesses and his estimated net worth is about 80 million Kenyan shillings.
