RAILA, KALONZO, KARUA, NYON’GO, ORENGO, WANGA, OCHILO SECURITY WITHDRAWN.
Information reaching our news desk is that the Kenya Kwanza Government has withdrawn security details of Azimio leader Raila Odinga, his deputy Martha Karua and Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka. The move comes hours to the planned week long demonstrations starting this wednesday.
Governors allied to the Azimio side have equally suffrered the same fate with Gladys Wanga of Homabay, Peter Anyang Nyongo of Kisumu, James Orengo of Siaya and Ochilo Ayacko of Migori having their security withdrawn.
50 Mps of Azimio Coalition side have also had their security withdrawn.
This follows an official statement from Azimio La Umoja hours ago, assuring citizens of its commitment to the planned demos in a bid to heed to the outcry of the common mwananchi.
