PRESIDENT ALI BONGO RE ELECTION IN GABON OVERTURNED | MILITARY FORCEFULLY TAKES OVER POWER
The Military has done the unthinkable by dethroning Gabon President, as they have taken over Government.
Gabonese President, Ali Bongo, has stands deposed by his own military just a few hours after being announced winner of Gabon Presidential elections.
The soldiers went live on national and international television to announce they had taken over power. They also announced government dissolution as the country becomes a military state.
Ali Bongo rose to power in the year 2009 after the death of his father and was about to serve his third term when the unprecedented occurrence surfaced.
This comes weeks after Niger President suffered the same ordeal and currently other African governments are on high alert.
