Pastor Kanyari has cleared the air about his past relation with gospel musician Betty Bayo. This is after the later made claims that she had never been married to the pastor. Betty Nayo claimed,
“I am married, I have a handsome man, but the only thing you can relate to me is the ex. I believe even in your house, what you don’t use, you put in the trash. The only people who go back to the trash are mad people,”
Betty Nayo made the revelation during an episode of a gospel reality show labelled , ‘Oh Sister’ where she made claims that she was in her first marriage with her first husband, Hiram Gitau.
In a recent interview on Friday July 14, Kanyari denied claims that he was in a come we stay marriage with Betty Bayo. He asserted that he had paid full dowry and also fulfilled necessary requirements to claim Bayo as his wife. He stressed that he wouldn’t have had children with someone who he is not officially married to.
Kanyari said, “I had visited her parents, paid dowry, and fulfilled all the requirements to make her my wife. I would never have children with someone I am not married to. To me, that is what being officially married means,”
