Popular Nairobi-based DJ Johnson Karuma was found dead in Lucky Summer after he was brutally attacked by thugs on his way home. It is alleged that thugs robbed him off his possessions , stabbed him and left him for the dead.
The untimely death happens months after he lost his wife Peninah Muchemi in 2022 which left him and their two kids very distressed. During a recent interview with a local media house, his cousin Caroline Ngamau said that the popular DJ was attacked by thugs on his way home while he was walking home from work.
She reported,
Soo sad his wife died last year due to a short illness; he was a single father of two. Now his kids are orphans and to make matters worse, his firstborn daughter is in Form Four at Highridge Boarding Secondary School. Their son is in Grade Five at Westlands Primary School,”
