Meru governor leaves people talking after naming a road after her husband Murega Baichu

Controversial Meru county governor Kawira Mwangaza has sparked outrage yet again by naming a road after her spouse. Kawira sparked outrage when naming the route after her husband, Murega Baichu. For the last week, the road in the Nyaki West Ward of the Imenti North Constituency has been undergoing restoration.

Other sources have revealed that the road or simply Murega Baichu road is leading to Kawira`s inlaws and it is seen as another big nepotism and favoratism in the county. The governor who had faced impeachment from the MCAs gained her seat back after senate reinstated her. She had been accused of several charges such as mismanagement of the county and corruption.
