MAANDAMANO HIGHLIGHTS TODAY | WEDNESDAY | KENYA

The entire country is at a standstill following police operations in preparation for riots over the unending hard economic times in Kenya. The Azimio brigade have therefore heeded to the outcry of Kenyans and called for a three day nonestop protests.

Early this morning before dawn, the anti riot police were seen winding their nap in mlolongo area just meters from Nairobi’s cbd.

The Capital city is clean, clear and empty like it’s another public holiday while a handful can be seen moving around. Shops remain closed. There are however signs of fires lit along Waiyaki way. Protesters have began to burn vehicle tires.

Meru has witnessed the very first lobbying of teargas and particularly theirs happened just around a police station.

Seems like Kisii County are more than prepared for they have put up the mother of all road barriers countrywide. The barriers limits entry into or out of the city by car and presumably the rioters are prepared to also to deal with whats within.

Homabay is just jogging to their initial stages of road barrication and are expected to do more by midday.

The streets of Mombasa are however infested with police all over. We believe intelligence are on the high alert. Possibilities are that the anti riot are having back up from their anti terror counterparts.

As things unfold citizens await a command from the Azimio team despite arrest of some members of paliarment last night.

The government is keen on puting a stop to the ongoing demonstrations by all means. However the economy continues to deteroriate pending two more days of protests and more to come.
