Kenyan music industry is very famous across the borders thanks to its many artists. The artists from Kenya have been good ambassadors away from the country in the music world as they have been making headlines even in foreign countries. Some have competed in international awards and won giving them a space in international map of musicians.
Over time the many artists have amassed a lot of wealth that has been generated in various means such as revenue from music and performances, business investments and other stipends that come with the celebrity status such as endorsements and promotions.

1. Akothee
The Boss lady who christened herself as the president of single mothers recently left the post vacant after doing a world class marriage ceremony with her white husband who was nicknamed Omosh.
Akothee is undoubtedly the richest musician in Kenya according to how much wealth and properties she has in her name.
Other than music, the lady has other investments such as the Akothee Safaris which is a tourist company, the Diani Beach Resort in Mombasa, real estate company and others. She is also involved in product promotions and endorsements that bring her a lot of income.
Her Rongo village home is valued at over ksh. 100 million and it is also said that she has a taxi company in Mombasa. All these makes her ahead of the rest with over 650 million wealth value.
2. Jaguar
Charles Kanyi better known as Jaguar is a musician turned politician. He served a mp for Starehe constituency from 2017 to 2022 where he lost the elections. He was then appointed to serve as a Chief Administrative Secretary.
He has been a musician before politics and recently made a comeback in music after losing elections. He was engaged in a nasty online fight with Akothee over who is richer than the other.
He has a taxi, security and car garage companies that bring him a lot of income. His car collections ranges from Range Rover Sport, Bentley, Mercedes Benz E240 and a Lexus GL 450. His total wealth valuation is at around 400 million Kenyan shillings.
3. Nameless
Nameless is a legendary musician in Kenya who started 1990s and he introduced the urban music in Kenya. His real name is David Mathenge.
Though the musician do not show off about his properties as others do, he is believed to be worth over 150 million together with his wife Wahu. They are brans ambassadors and investors.
4. Size 8
Size 8 has a real name that many may not be aware of. She is called Linet Munyali and she is a singer and a preacher. She started as a secular musician before turning to gospel industry in the famous ‘Size 8 Reborn’. Earlier last year she opened her own church where she was ordained as a pastor.
Together with her husband DJ Moh, the couple controls wealth that is over 100 million and includes music royalties and product promotions and endorsement deals. They also have personal investments.
5. Bahati
Bahati has amassed wealth over time since his entry into music back in 2012. Together with wife Diana Marua, they are considered as one of the most successful couples in Kenya.
Bahati earns a lot from his music which as made him gain fame and popularity. They have family businesses. Their wealth is valued at about 90 million Kenyan shillings.
