KOT “COOKS” GENGE MUSIC LEGEND FOLLOWING SPITEFUL COMMENT ABOUT AWARD WINNING COMEDIAN NJUGUSH.
Kenyans on Twitter, KOT, took up arms to defend famed comedian Njugush after veteran musician Jua Cali claimed that he is not funny.
In a series of tweets directed at Jua Cali, Kenyans called him out for trying to bring down comedian Njugush instead of encouraging him to do better.
Kenyans were left in shock on Sunday evening when the veteran musician made a controversial tweet in which he publicly claimed that Njugush is not funny.
“Njugush ni boy wangu but 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 hakuna comedian hapo not funny at all!!!!” Read the tweet.
In what most of us would call “karma,” Kenyans on Twitter also decided to give Jua Cali some bit of “honest feedback” regarding his music.
In most of the tweets, Kenyans condemned Jua Cali for tarnishing the award winning comedian’s name, instead of defending him when he was at his lowest.
One user wrote “You should be in the front line tryna support ur bro bana. U came from the trenches you know better. Sasa kama wewe ndio ushaokota mawe ukatwanga nayo njugush wq kwanza what picture are you portraying??? Unakuanga a legend in my books but not anymore fr fr!!”
Another Kenyan wrote “Utter disrespectful and unacceptable for an artist ,let alone a man dragging down another man. Piss of sh** Luhya clown”
Other irate users didn’t mince their words, with some of them questioning Jua Cali’s creativity over the years since his music never evolved.
We are yet to confirm whether or not there has been a brewing “beef” between the famed musician and comedian Njugush, who is currently in Australia for his 5 day “Njugush ft. Wakavinye Australian TTNT Four Tour.”
