Kenya Airways Pride Center was opened on 26th July 2007 as Africa’s head preparing the office for Aviation and Hospitality. The Kenya Airways Pride Center is situated in Embakasi, Nairobi. It can hold to a limit of 530 members at any given go.

It’s licensed by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority and The International Air Transport Association (IATA) to direct all the preparation. Starting in 2020, KQ pride center offers 3 diploma courses and 3 certificate courses for the new fledglings to the Aviation Industry.

Kenya Airways Pride Center Courses and Fee Structure

The following is the charge structure for Kenya Airways Pride Center.

1. IATA Travel and Tourism Consultant Diploma

  • Application Fee. KES 2,000

  • Tuition Fee USD 1,500.00, Exam Fee (USD) 597

  • Minimum Mean Grade is C- (Minus) or equivalent

  • IATA Travel and Tourism Course – Foundation Level Diploma

  • Age: 18 years of age

  • 6 Months​​ Inclusive of attachment at any of​​ ​​ KQ sales offices

2. IATA Foundation in Travel and Tourism Diploma

  • Application Fee. KES 2,000

  • Tuition Fee USD 1,550.00, Exam Fee (USD) 662

  • Minimum Mean Grade is C- (Minus) or equivalent

  • Age: 18 years of age

  • 6 Months

3. IATA Air Cargo Diploma

  • Application Fee. KES 2,000

  • Tuition Fee USD 1,700.00

  • ​​ Exam Fee USD 1,203

  • Minimum Mean Grade is C- (Minus) or equivalent

  • Passion for Customer Service

  • Proficiency in the use of IT

  • Interpersonal skills

  • 9 months Inclusive attachment

4. Certificate in Flight Dispatch

  • Application Fee: KES 2,000

  • Tuition Fee: KES 250,000

  • Minimum Mean Grade is C Plus (C+) or equivalent

  • Age: 18 years of age

  • 9 months Inclusive attachment

5. Certificate in Passenger Services

  • Application KES 2,000

  • Tuition Fee KES 150,000

  • Minimum Mean Grade is C- (Minus) or equivalent

  • Passion for Customer Service

  • Knowledge of a foreign language is an added advantage

  • Proficiency in use of IT

  • ​​ Interpersonal skills

  • 6 Months

6. Certificate in Airline Cabin Crew

  • Application Fee – KES 2,000

  • Tuition Fee – KES 210,000

  • Minimum Mean Grade is C- (Minus) or equivalent

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • Minimum physical height of 5.4 ft (Ladies) or 5.6 ft. (Gentlemen)

  • Ability to swim

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in the use of IT

  • Experience in customer service environment desirable

  • 3 Months
