Latest news has it that the Hgh Court Judge Principal Judge Eric Ogolla has ordered for transfer of Lady Justice Mugure Thande. Thande is famed for having suspended the controversial Finance Bill 2023. She has been taken to Malindi Law court. However, this transfer has affected other thirteen more judges according to the notice.
The Nakuru High Court will now be presided over by Lady Justice Hedwig Ong’undi who has been moved from the Constitutional and Human Rights Division at Milimani court in Nairobi.

Lady Justice Diana Rachel Kavedza was moved from Milimani-Criminal Division to Kibra & Kahawa Law Courts.
Lady Justice Teresa Odera has been moved from Nakuru High Court to Kisii High Court, switching with Lady Justice Patricia Gichohi who was moved from Kisii High Court to Nakuru High Court. Justice Peter Mulwa was taken from Kiambu High Court to the Commercial and Tax Division at Milimani.
Justice Aleem Vishram was moved from Milimani-Civil Division to Milimani Commercial and Tax Division while Lady Justice Lilian Mutende was nominated as the Civil Society Organisation (CSO) chair.
