The embattled Lang’ata member of parliament Phelix Odiwuor known as Jalang’o has yet again been found in a difficult situation after being named in a gold scandal. Jalang’o and other fellow mp senator Chesang’ and Jhanda are said to be part of a group dealing in fake gold scams.
This was published by Citizen Weekly magazine which mentioned him as part of this. Jalas reacted furiously vowing to take legal action against the publication. He promised that once he will be done with the publication, they will not publish any such stories again. According to him, the information is false and amounts to defamation.
”Rogue media must be dealt with! After the steps I want to take against Citizen Weekly I dont think they will ever sit down and write a defamatory story on anyone again then call to extort you in the name of we will clean your name! Ill not fall for that nonsense! Good day!”, he posted on facebook.
This comes just few days after he was expelled from the ODM party for his association with the Kenya Kwanza side.
