After being in the cold for more than one year after losing elections, former nominated member of parliament Isaac Mwaura can finally smile as he has been appointed to a powerful government position.
In the latest news from the state house, Mwaura has been appointed as the official government spokesperson and wi be deputised by Mwanaisha Chidzuga who is a journalist who worked with KBC, K24 and TV47 and also vied for Matuga constituency parliamentary seat on UDA ticket in the 2022 election but lost. Another deputy to Mwaura will be Gabriel Muthuma who is a political analyst and communication expert.
The docket of government spokesperson is mandated to making communications from government to the public and giving other directives and decisions from the government. It is the mouthpiece of government to the people.
