”If anything happens to me ask Joyce” Last message of Fred Gitau to his sister

Kenyans were shocked after a pastor who was set to wed his lover was found dead a day before the wedding. Fred Gitau who was a pastor at Deliverance Church in Kahawa was found dead in his house with foam coming from his mouth.

Earlier before during the day, he was seen out with a group of friends believed to be his bridesmaids. One of them later dropped him at his place that evening but Fred was never seen again the following morning. This caused concerns as he was set to have a meeting together with his pastor but when he failed to show up, they looked for him and found him dead in his house.

According to police investigations, Fred allegedly took poison which he mixed with yoghurt he was drinking. Also, police revealed that he called his sister but he did not find her. He then left a message to her. In the message, Fred said that Joyce, who has since been revealed as the would be wife, should be responsible if anything happened to him. Investigations further detailed that Fred killed himself after Joyce turned down the wedding and wanted more time to think about it.

It has therefore been concluded that Fred killed himself after Joyce developed a cold feet towards the marriage and nobody was involved in his death.
