Gladys Shollei Weds Mzungu Boyfriend In a Traditional Ceremony

National Assembly Deputy Speaker Gladys Boss Shollei is off the market if photos circulating online are to go by. Gladys wedded her lover in a very colourful traditional ceremony during the weekend.
She donned a flowy red dress that she matched with a colourful Maasai necklace. Her husband Honn wore a bowler hat, navy blue hat, a cream trouser and yellow decoration strip.

Her traditional wedding happens years after divorcing her husband , Sam Shollei. Gladys’ husband Horn is a South Africa based specialist psychiatrist.
In 2020, Gladys and her ‘Mzungu’ boyfriend exchanged vows in an invites only ceremony which was presided by an ordained clergy under strict covid-19 restrictions.

Reportedly, less than five politicians attended the ceremony and none of the guests were allowed to take photographs.The private ceremony happened only few months after a bitter divorce from her then husband Sam Shollei who was a former CEO of Standard Media Group. In January 2020, Shollei remarried Faith Rono in a private ceremony that was attended by close relatives.

Photos circulating online showed that city lawyer Donald Kipkorir and Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumicha.
Kipkorir tweeted, ” Today, my BFF Hon. Gladys Boss Gladys Shollei & her husband Dr Neil Horn had a multicultural jamboree to celebrate their beautiful marriage. Gladys has been my BFF since August 1988: 35 YEARS TODAY. And our friend Health Minister Nakhumichawas in attendance,”

Shillei’s wedding happens few days after son Dr. Kim Kogos’ wedding ceremony. Speaking about her son’s wedding ceremony she said,
“My heart was filled with joy and pride as my son Dr. Kim Kogos married his most beautiful bride, Ms Joy Cheptile. As mother to the groom, I wish the happy couple endless joy and abundant blessings,”
