Ezra Chiloba Date of birthEzra Simiyu Chiloba was born on 19th of March in 1979. He is a Luhya by tribe who was born in Trans Nzoia County.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ezra Chiloba Education

Chiloba went to Mutua Primary School in Kwanza and later joined St. Joseph’s Kitale High School. He then transferred to Kwanza Boys High School where he did his KCSE exams. Chiloba has a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi.  He is a Master of Science holder in Major Programme Management (MMPM) from the University of Oxford, and a Master of Public Policy which he obtained from Central European University, Hungary.

 

 

 

Ezra Chiloba Career

He worked as a Programme Officer at Cemiride and Oxford Novib. Chiloba also served as a Human Rights Officer at Kenya National Human Rights Commission. At the United Nations Development Programme,  he worked as a Project manager before holding the position of Deputy team leader in charge of governance at Drivers of Accountability Programme (DAP) in 2015.In January 2015, Chiloba was named as the Chief Executive Officer of the Independent Elections and Boundaries Commission where he was suspended in April 2018 and finally fired. Thereafter, he became Principal Partner at Chil & Kemp Strategies. Chiloba was later appointed as a board member of the Youth Enterprise Development Fund. 

Chiloba was named as the Director General of Communications Authority of Kenya but was suspended from his position.

His rich career background has made him be able to accumulate significant amount of wealth both in assets and cash. He has an estimated net worth of about ksh. 170 million.
