Gospel musician Samuel Muraya alias DJ Mo and his wife Size 8 are looking forward to celebrating a decade in their marriage. Their ten year marriage has been faced with many challenges but the couple still continues to learn and grow together. In an interview with Oga Obinna, DJ Mo reflected on the revolution of their ten year old marriage.
He said,
” This September, we are reaching our 10-year mark. Size 8 has truly elevated my brand throughout this journey. Currently, we’re in the process of building our home. It’s been a transformative journey”
Speaking about a past incident, DJ Mo revealed that they once got into a heated argument that Size 8 left the house to go and rent herself another apartment for two months. He admitted to letting his emotions take a toll on him and asserted that he was working on his emotions.
“There was a time when we had a serious argument that escalated to the point where she decided to leave and rented her own apartment for two months.Sometimes, I let my emotions get the best of me. I’ve been working on addressing this for quite some time.During that disagreement, things became so heated that it almost turned physical. One thing I’ve always been committed to is avoiding violence at all costs. I’m well aware of my own tendencies.”
At that moment, I thought our marriage might be over. The situation was dire, but we made the conscious effort to work through our differences.”
In a past interview, Size 8 admitted to leaving her matrimonial home since Mo had done something against her wish. She said that she needed space to breath and talk to God about the predicament. She said,
“Yes, I ran away and I was very angry at DJ Mo. He did something wrong to me and I just needed some space to breathe and talk to God because I believe that when my emotions are high we might get into an altercation or mistreat each other,”
