BRITISH FOLK SINGER WITH KENYAN ROOTS DIES AT 87 | ROGER WHITTAKER IS NO MORE.
“My Land is Kenya” hit maker Roger Whittaker has passed on, with his fans across the globe taking to social media to mourn the fallen Legendary musician.
Roger was born in Kenya in the year 1936, the 22nd day by English parents. He cherished his birth place Kenya so much that he had to pen a song for her.
“My land is Kenya. Right from your highlands to the sea.. You’l always stay with me here in my heart” says the lyrics to MY LAND IS KENYA song.
Roger produced his debut hits “Durham Town” and “Expert Whisling” in 1969 and has given his followers and fans over 50 Million sold records to smile about. He exits the stage at 87.
