More information continues to perch at our news desk over the Government move to withdraw security of the first first lady Mama Ngina Kenyatta.
The order was issued this evening at 5.00pm promting the 8 police officers guarding the former president’s mum to report back to their respective stations.
Mama Ngina initially had about 30 police officers guarding both her Muthaiga and Gatundu homes before they were later reduced to 8 and now she has none.
This directive comes barely 24 hours to the wake of a mother of all demonstrations going 3 consecutive days starting tomorrow.
We believe the withdrawal of Mama Ngina security detail sends a strong message to former president Uhuru Kenyatta who is believed to be a huge sponsor of the Azimio activities.
