BIOGRAPHY OF CHRISTOPHER WAMBUA, EZRA CHILOBA’s REPLACEMENT AT COMMUNICATIONS AUTHORITY OF KENYA (CAK) .
The Communications Authority of Kenya CAK has made an announcement appointing KFCB boss Christopher Wambua as Director General, in acting capacity. The position formerly held by former IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba has been taken away following the latter’s suspension.
The CAK Board chair Mary Mungai made the announcement Monday evening with a copy of the same shared with local news rooms after official briefing.
Christopher Wambua is a key factor in matters diplomacy, arts and politics.
The 53 year replaced embattled Dr. Ezekiel Mutua at KFCB in 2021. He is a graduate of Kenyatta University having studied Education, History and Literature combination.
He has a Masters in International Studies from Nairobi University with a post graduate diploma in Public Relations from the Chattered Institute of Public Relations.
Mr. Wambua has a background also in Mass Communication from UON.
His Doors in the job market opened at the JKUAT University as a PR officer before joining the Tea Board of Kenya in the same capacity and later became an Assistant PR manager at the Communications Authority of Kenya. He was recently promoted to Assistant Director Multi Media Content and Innovation.
Currently Mr. Christopher Wambua is the Acting Director General of the CAK.
