He is currently seated at the right hand of the country’s most powerful.
We all know Mr. Ruto as Commander in Chief whose word is law.Truth is, both Babu and Jalas are loved in equal measure not only by Luo but Kenyan youth. They have inspired many.
Babu having played “good disciple” to Raila, including being arrested numerous times for his loyalty, Jalango humbles about having carried a heavy box of evidence to court during the presidential election. Contrary to my opinion though, this was an act of loyalty to his party. But wait a minute, has he not helped the party at times of need!
Aside from just wearing the party T-shirt for what to do, Jalas was a forefront figure in the presidential election. Many may not just comprehend how he won against Korir in the Langata Race and even rose to become the heir of Baba’s initial bedroom.
It is a game of cards and any super player will tell you of importance the ability to hide crutial cards under the table.
Babu OWINO has his way of winning elections come rain come sunshine because he is an expert of winning an election. Whatever it calls for he will do it including playing errand boy to the returning officer if he so feels thirsty while in the middle of a vote count. Let’s just say you will account for Babu’s votes even in the middle of a labour pain .
Jalas on the other hand has mastered the art of casting a winning vote for himself. He will arrive at the polling station with all his votes and followers intact and they will give that winning impression that finally pulls a “guduwan” dejection on the face of the opponent.Both posses splendid campaign strategies.
Jalas though, is a go getter who is loved in equal measure, forget the current wave of hatred fashioned against him. I believe he will overcome. Mind you, if Jalango survives the Ruto wave then he shall be considered a political genius and not a betrayor like he is branded currently.
But before that can we just look into how Jalas successfully won his election. He kept his moves to himself. Loved and supported Raila Odinga in broad daylight but was never passionate about hating Ruto. Campaigns for him became a toss of the coin where landing was to happen on either face.

Babu OWINO has learnt much from Raila Odinga. My only worry is; should Raila drop his political student Felix Odiwuor aka Jalango, then the latter will fall in the hands of yet another political professor known as Sir. William Ruto. We are looking at a better baked Jalango, politically. In a nutshell, by the time Babu Owino is making his way onto Luo leadership apex, Jalango shall have mastered all the traverses of the jungle. He should not be underrated.
