Popular comedian Eric Omondi has shared a video displaying women throwing underwears at him after he almost missed a comedy show set to be in Kampala.
The video shared on social media has since been deleted and shows the comedian picking the panties and throwing them back to the crowd.
It however remains unclear whether the undergarments were part of the comedy show or depicted the legit situation in Kampala.
In the caption , the comedian said that the undergarments were thrown at him since he arrived at the show late.
Before leaving the country Eric Omondi shared that he had missed the flight and later took a private jet to fly in Uganda. He said,
“Missed my flight to Kampala,Uganda yesterday morning but PRESIDENT is PRESIDENT. A few phone calls and we take off and Land Privately in the Pearl of Africa Got there late but got there anyway.
During an earlier interview, the comedian had revealed that he would convince fellow comedians to quit doing shows as part of ‘maandamano.’
He said, “Comedians, stop doing shows untill next year. Right now, there is nothing to laugh about. The taxes, the high cost of living, mnachekesha nani? Kenyans don’t want to laugh. Kenyans are depressed.”
